Manage Your Alert Rules

Alert Rules provide a quick and easy way to be notified when a condition you are monitoring changes or when an AcuRite device may need your attention. When a condition set in an Alert Rule is reached, My AcuRite automatically activates an alert notification.

NOTE

My AcuRite monitors each reading at the time it's uploaded by a Connection Device. It may take up to an additional 5 minutes from the time a reading is uploaded to My AcuRite for an alert notification to be generated. Exceptions include the Water or Lightning Closest Strike Distance alert notifications, which are generated at the time the reading is received by My AcuRite.

The frequency readings are sent (uploaded) to My AcuRite is dependent upon the AcuRite Connection Device's upload frequency.

Alert Rules features

  • Create and manage Custom Alerts to monitor the conditions at the location of your AcuRite sensors.
  • System Alerts notify you when an AcuRite device may need your attention - such as when communication has been lost or a device's batteries may need to be replaced.
  • Set up your Alert Rules to send email and text alert notifications to your Alert Contacts when an alert notification is activated. An Alert Contact must be added to an Alert Rule to receive alert notifications.
  • Your active Alert notifications can be viewed online at myacurite.com.
  • A sensor must be added to a Connection Device to allow it to be added to an Alert Rule.
